Sydney Wampler
Graduate Intern
(she/her)
I am a graduate student intern with a passion for working with adults 18 and older – including Veterans and law enforcement – in navigating life’s challenges. By using a person-centered approach, I prioritize creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment for your journey. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are – emotionally, mentally, and in life – with warmth and curiosity to understand your story at your pace. Whether you’re managing stress, healing from past trauma, going through life transitions, I am committed to walking with you through that process.
I value building trust and fostering a collaborative relationship, where you are an active participant in your healing and growth. While I take this work seriously, I also recognize that therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Life can be rough, messy, and unpredictable, and I aim to create a space where you can explore your thoughts, make progress, and find relief in little moments of humor along the way.
As an Army Veteran, my military experience shaped my understanding of resilience, personal growth, and transformation bringing a unique perspective to my work in mental health. I understand how the military life, stress, trauma, and identity shifts can affect our lives. My hope is for you to feel seen and understood, valued, and supported as we work together toward change that feels right for you and your life.
