Performance psychology

Whole Brain Performance.

For athletes, executives, and professionals whose work asks them to perform under sustained pressure. Stress is inevitable — and necessary — for performance. Our work helps you rewire your relationship to it, use it to your advantage, and tune into your innate resilience.

The framework

Beyond mindset and motivation.

Whole Brain Performance integrates psychological flexibility, adaptive neural networks, and evidence-based work on confidence and relationship to stress. We draw on EMDR and Polyvagal Theory — the same clinical depth that underlies our therapy practice.

Who it's for

Individual consultation.

Performance work is delivered as an individual consultation engagement — not group programming. Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to the demands of your discipline or role.

Psychological flexibility

The capacity to stay effective when conditions change — and to keep acting on what matters under pressure.

Adaptive networks

Building the neural patterns that support consistency at the top of your discipline.

Confidence

Grounded in preparation and regulation, not in performative self-talk.

Stress relationship

Stress isn't the enemy — dysregulation is. We shift how your system meets it.

FAQ

Common questions

How is this different from a mental coach or sports psychologist?

Our work integrates a clinical, trauma-informed lens with performance goals. That means we don't stop at visualization or motivational scripts — we work at the level of the nervous system, where sustained performance actually happens. It's regulation-first performance work, delivered by clinicians trained in EMDR and Polyvagal Theory, not a coaching program layered on top of talk.

Do you work with executives and knowledge workers, or only athletes?

Both. The framework applies to anyone whose role demands sustained, high-stakes performance — competitive athletes, executives, founders, senior operators, and creatives working under sustained load. The specifics of the plan differ; the underlying model of regulation, adaptive networks, and psychological flexibility does not.

Is it covered by insurance?

No. Performance consultation is offered as a private engagement, not billed through health insurance, and is not a substitute for therapy when clinical care is indicated. If we learn during intake that clinical therapy would serve you better first, we'll say so and route you accordingly.

What does an engagement typically look like?

Engagements are individual and structured. Most begin with an intake that clarifies your discipline, current load, timing pressures, and goals, followed by a defined sequence of sessions with specific targets. Telehealth is the default format so sessions can flex around travel, training, or competition.

How do I request a consultation?

Email the performance team through the request link and include your role or discipline, current goals, and any relevant timing (season, launch, competition). We respond within one to two business days with next steps and availability.
